Odgen Golf and Country Club

The junior golf program at Ogden Golf & Country Club introduces juniors ages 5-18 to the game of golf.  There are two parts to the junior golf program: the junior clinics, and the junior league.

The junior clinics expose junior golfers to a variety of golf topics and fundamental swing mechanics including: grip, posture, ball position, the full swing, putting, chipping, sand shots, etiquette, rules of the game, and safety.  The junior clinics start the first part of June, and end the last part of July totaling six weeks.  Classes are broken down by age group and skill level.  Each class lasts for one hour.

Junior league gives junior golfers a chance to practice and improve the skills learned in the junior clinics.  In the junior league, junior golfers play golf on the golf course.  They learn how to play different golf formats including; scrambles, best balls and alternate shots.  Juniors are also taught golf etiquette and rules on the course.
